Dr. Melanie Williams is a board certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Born in Guyana, South America, and subsequently relocating to New York City at a young age, Dr. Williams later found her true home in Central Florida, where she spent the majority of her formative years. Following her childhood aspirations of becoming a physician, she pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. She continued her journey to become a physician by earning her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, where she graduated as one of the top students of her class. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Williams completed her intern year at Brandon Regional Medical Center in Florida. She then completed dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. During that time, she served as Chief Resident, Grand Rounds representative and resident coordinator for the Phillips Neighborhood Free Clinic.
Dr. Williams has an interest in adult and pediatric dermatology, skin of color dermatology, skin cancer, cosmetics and complex medical dermatology.
