How does online consultation work?

  1. Please ensure that you fill out a medical intake form and undergo any required lab work as determined by your medical provider.
  2. Your initial appointment with your new provider will take place via our HIPAA compliant telehealth Video platform.
  3. If your provider deems it medically necessary, you may receive your prescribed medication conveniently delivered to your home from our preferred mail order pharmacy.

Covered by Insurance?

Livewell HQ’s online HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform does not accept insurance; it is a fee-for-service model and is currently available for Florida residents only.

What is Compounded GLP-1?

Federal law permits compounding pharmacies to produce medications that are comparable to those on the FDA’s list of drug shortages, including semaglutide and tirzepatide. These medications, which are currently scarce, could be beneficial for addressing obesity and its associated health concerns in the United States. Compounding pharmacies serve a vital role in offering alternative solutions for patients when medications are in short supply or not covered by insurance. They provide weight loss medications at a reasonable cost, making them accessible to a wider range of individuals.

Who is not a candidate for our weightloss service?

While we are capable of safely treating a wide range of clients, we can NOT treat people with the following conditions or history of:
 
  • Diabetes Type 1 or Type 2
  • Thyroid cancer
  • Pancreatitis
  • Kidney disease
  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Depression, suicidal thoughts or behavior
  • Family or personal history of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2

While there is no long-term commitment, most people will need to be on a weight loss journey for at least three months to see optimal results for healthy weight loss.

Our weight-loss programs start as low as $249 per month. That includes everything you need, from your online appointment to your medication delivered straight to your door from our preferred mail order pharmacy. Please note that the fee is inclusive with our preferred pharmacy ONLY; we do NOT work with local pharmacies. You will be responsible for the medication cost if you choose your local pharmacy.

We can send your prescription to any pharmacy of your choice. Please note that most local pharmacies do not honor the pricing offered by this online platform and you may be required to pay-out-of-pocket if you do not want to use our preferred mail order pharmacy.

Once your healthcare provider has prescribed a GLP-1 medication or another weight loss option, the prescription is forwarded to a licensed compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy typically requires 3-4 business days to process the order before shipping it out via 2-day shipping. In general, most clients can expect to receive their medication within 8-14 business days from the time they consult with their provider. Please note your provider has no control over pharmacy shipping times.

 
Prepare your supplies

  • Remove the sterile cap from the vial and wipe it with an alcohol swab. Remove the plunger and needle cap, and puncture the vial top. Pull back on the plunger to draw up the prescribed amount of medication. If you’re not ready to inject right away, you can slide the needle into an open cap to reduce the risk of needle sticks, and refrigerate the vial.

Choose an injection site

  • Clean the area with an alcohol swab, starting from the middle and working outward in a circle. Pinch a large area of skin, making sure your fingers are far enough apart so you don’t accidentally stick yourself.

Inject the medication

  • Insert the needle at a 45–90 degree angle, and quickly push it in. Make sure all the solution is deposited into the skin, and pull back to check for blood. You can leave the needle in for a few seconds, then withdraw it.

Dispose of the needle

  • Use a bag of needles designed for your treatment, and dispose of the used needles properly. You can put them in an old milk jug or hard laundry detergent container if you don’t have a sharps container.
  • **You may watch GLP-1 video with animated demonstration.

You will need to be seen each time a new prescription is required or change of dose. We have 90 day, 60 day and 30 day programs you can sign up for. You will be responsible to book an appointment on platform for your continued weight loss success. Your shipment of medication will be based on the program you sign up for.

Actual weight lost is dependent on a number of factors but many clients lose around 5% of their initial body weight. Over 12 weeks, it can be as high as 10%. And some clients over a year frame have lost over 20% and more of their body weight.

While weight-loss is different for everyone, GLP-1 medications have helped thousands of people lose weight where they had otherwise failed. It’s always important to understand weight loss is a journey and making lifestyle dietary and exercise a priority. Healthy weight loss is often defined as 1-2 lbs per week. Extreme weight loss is not a medically desired effect.

Dose adjustments will have a corresponding fee based on cost of increase dosage. All fees will be discussed prior to new orders being sent to pharmacy.

The FDA-approved brand name drugs, including Saxenda, Victoza, Wegovy, and Ozempic, are exclusively distributed by the Novo Nordisk company. Mounjaro and Zepbound are exclusively available from Eli Lily and Company. This website does not assert any affiliation with or endorsement from the aforementioned products or entities. We do not provide any of the mentioned products; individuals seeking such products should consult their licensed healthcare provider or pharmacist for available options.
 
This website exclusively offers compounded medications, which are formulated in State Board of Pharmacy licensed sterile compounding pharmacies or FDA-licensed 503 (b) Outsourcing facilities. While these facilities are subject to stringent regulations, the compounded medications they produce do not have FDA approval, as they are tailored to individual provider prescriptions for specific patients.
