How much do lip fillers cost?

The average lip filler cost is $600-$900 per syringe. Most people have one to two syringes injected, although more be used, depending on the desired effect.

What to expect with lip filler:

Initial consultation

Discuss medical history and medications, as well as your aesthetic goals
Ensure you’re a good candidate with realistic lip enhancement expectations
Advisor provider if you have a history of cold sores to obtain preventative treatment
Book appointment
Realize that if you want significant volume increase, you may need more than one appointment

Filler appointment:

Final discussion regarding your lip injection goals
Numbing or dental block applied
Pre-procedure cleaning
Injections made into specific areas, such as the vermillion border, the body of the lips, cupid’s bow, and oral commissures
Typically 1 cc of HA/syringe with 1-2 syringes per treatment
Post-procedure skin cleaning

Post-appointment:

Don’t touch, rub, or put pressure to lips (including kissing) for 24-48 hours
Avoid intense physical activity for 24-48 hours
Avoid dental work for two weeks
Limit exposure to sun and heat
If you have post-procedure bruising, swelling, redness, or discomfort, use an ice pack; do not take aspirin or use alcohol
Follow your provider’s instructions
Wait 2-3 weeks for filler to “settle” before making any adjustments
