Overview

A non-surgical butt lift using Sculptra and Radiesse involves injecting these dermal fillers into the buttocks to stimulate collagen improving volume and lift.

The building of collagen takes several weeks to months. This means you’ll likely need several injection sessions to see improvement in volume and shape.

The procedure is minimally invasive, does not require surgery, and has a shorter recovery time compared to surgical options.

Ideal Candidate

May individuals may lack sufficient fatty tissue for a conventional Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), a procedure that entails fat transfer from one body area, such as the abdomen, to enhance the buttocks.

Sculptra or Radiesse represents a viable alternative for individuals with a lean physique seeking to augment their buttocks.

Or for individuals interested in exploring non-invasive alternatives, Sculptra/Radiesse BBL is an option for patients.

What to Expect

Expectations should be realistic, as the non-surgical butt lift may not be able to provide the same level of lift and contouring as a surgical procedure. It is important to consult with a qualified and experienced practitioner who can assess your individual needs and expectations to determine if this procedure is suitable for you.

Next, your provider will instruct you to lay comfortably on your stomach. Your provider or an assistant will swab the area of your injection with alcohol to sterilize it and reduce the risk of infection.

Depending on your preference and your provider’s recommendation, you may have an anesthetic applied topically to your butt to reduce any discomfort you feel during the injection.

The injection process itself will only take 30-45 minutes as your provider uses sterilized equipment to inject Sculptra or Radiesse into your buttocks.

After the injections are completed, you may receive a bandage on the area where the shots were inserted. You can get dressed as usual and are clear to drive immediately afterward.

Recovery

Recovery after a Sculptra or Radiesse butt lift is minimal. You will be given instructions from your provider which may include massaging the injected area. You may be asked to avoid strenuous exercise for a day or two following the injection.

Results

You won’t see results of your Sculptra butt lift right away or full results from Radiesse due to delay of collagen production. It can take 4 to 6 months for the results to become apparent, as the injection works to slowly boost your body’s collagen production.

However results can last up to 2 years and require maintenance sessions.

Safety Profile

Sculptra® and Radiesse presents extremely minimal risks as a BBL procedure, and patients experience little to no pain at all during the procedure. As with any procedure there is always potential for vascular compromise and infection. Its important to choose a qualified provider when undergoing this procedure.

Cost

Cost varies significantly on amount and location of treatment.

A minimum of four vials of Sculptra or an equivalent amount of Radiesse is necessary for a minor butt lift procedure, with potential requirement of up to 10 vials per session.

For more significant results, multiple sessions may be needed.

The typical cost for this treatment ranges between $4,000 and $9,000 per session.
