About EmSculpt®

Overview

It is designed to help men and women achieve a more toned and sculpted physique. Emsculpt builds muscle causing muscular hypertrophy. Each 30 minute session is equivalent to 20,000 contractions. EmSculpt Neo combines the muscle building benefits of HIFEM technology with radiofrequency (RF) energy to simultaneously destroy fat cells and tighten the skin.

Advantages

Compared to other body contouring technologies such as CoolSculpting or Vanquish, EmSculpt focuses on muscle building and toning.

While CoolSculpting targets fat cells by freezing them, and Vanquish uses radiofrequency energy to heat and destroy fat cells, EmSculpt uniquely enhances muscle definition. It can be an excellent complementary treatment.

Ultimately, the choice between these different technologies depends on your needs.

Pros
  • Muscle building and toning: EmSculpt can help build muscle mass and improve muscle definition in targeted areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, arms, and legs.
  • Non-invasive and painless: The treatment is non-surgical, non-invasive, and generally painless. Most patients describe it as feeling like an intense workout session.
  • Quick and convenient: Each EmSculpt session typically lasts around 30 minutes, and there is no downtime required. Patients can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment.
  • Natural-looking results: EmSculpt helps to create natural-looking muscle definition, enhancing the overall appearance of the treated area.
Cons
  • Cost: EmSculpt treatments can be relatively expensive compared to other non-invasive body contouring options. Multiple sessions may be needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintenance treatments: To maintain the results achieved with EmSculpt, periodic maintenance treatments may be necessary.
What to Expect

Here’s what to expect from an EmSculpt treatment session:

  • Preparation: You will lie comfortably on a treatment bed while the technician attaches EmSculpt Neo applicators to target areas.
  • Sensation: You’ll feel  intense muscle contractions or a tapping sensation in targeted areas. While strong, it’s generally bearable.
  • Treatment duration: Sessions last about 30 minutes, with multiple sessions over several weeks for optimal results.
  • Comfort: The technician ensures comfort and adjusts intensity levels if needed. Communicate any discomfort or concerns during the session.
  • No downtime: Resume daily activities immediately, as EmSculpt Neo requires no downtime.
  • Gradual results: Initial improvement may be noticeable after one session, but full benefits become more apparent over time as the body builds muscle.

EmSculpt  treatments are generally well-tolerated, with most individuals finding them comfortable and convenient.
