About Lutronic Spectra

Overview

The Hollywood Spectra™ is a premier ultra-short pulse laser platform operating at 1064/532nm. This advanced system features proprietary technology that effectively diminishes unwanted skin pigmentation while promoting collagen production. It rejuvenates the skin, removes multi-colored tattoos, and perform sought-after treatments like the Hollywood Laser Peel® and AcnePeel™.

With its versatile applications, the Hollywood Spectra™ caters to a wide range of aesthetic needs. It is the first US FDA-cleared device to treat Melasma.

The Hollywood Spectra is a gradual treatment that necessitates several sessions for optimal and enduring results. The timeline for noticeable changes is influenced by the severity of your skin condition. Generally, pigmentation and acne issues may require about 1 to 3 treatments, whereas Melasma typically needs between 6 to 10 sessions.

The key benefits are:

  • Exfoliates the skin
  • Reduces unwanted pigmentation
  • Boosts collagen production

– Smoother overall complexion

What to Expect

Patient comfort during treatments can differ significantly. Many describe the Hollywood Laser Peel as producing a warm, prickly feeling with little discomfort.

In contrast, tattoo removal tends to be more painful, but the sessions are quick and often easier to endure than the initial tattooing process. To improve comfort, ice packs and air-cooling devices can be utilized. While Hollywood Spectra treatments typically last under 30 minutes.

Recovery

The Hollywood peel typically involves minimal to no downtime. In contrast, the tattoo removal process necessitates a short healing period. During this time, any minor crusting that may occur needs to resolve. While the peel allows for immediate return to normal activities, tattoo removal requires a bit more care. Overall, the two procedures differ in their recovery times.

Results

The number of treatment sessions needed will differ depending on each patient’s expectations. Some individuals may notice results after just one session. However, others, particularly those seeking melasma or tattoo removal, may require multiple sessions. The treatment plan is tailored to meet the specific goals of each patient. Ultimately, achieving the desired outcome may take varying amounts of time for different people.

For ongoing skin rejuvenation, the Hollywood Laser Peel can be administered as frequently as every four weeks. This approach ensures effective improvement in skin appearance over time.

Safety Profile

Spectra features a high-quality design and beam profile that facilitate the safe treatment of complex dermal pigments, such as Nevus of Ota. This technology is particularly effective for patients with darker skin types. It minimizes the risk of side effects during the treatment process.

Cost

The cost of the Spectra treatment may range from $300 to $1,200 per session and is often available in package options. Pricing is contingent upon factors such as the specific area being treated, the geographical location of the provider, and the expertise of the practitioner.
